A bit south of Castle Rock, Colorado, the paired lines of the Joint Line pass through an area appropriately called Greenland. Here, looking north from U.S. Highway 85/87, on the Denver & Rio Grande Western track to the right we see a northbound unit train navigating the curves towards Denver while the southbound Atchison, Topeka & Santa Fe rails to the left are empty.
