This view from atop the U.S. Route 30 highway underpass is about a mile east of Granger, Wyoming, looking west towards the town and the junction with the UP's former Oregon Short Line to Portland, Oregon. Already the OSL has split off a single track at right from the two main Overland Route tracks. Route 30 used to pass through Granger (in fact cutting across the OSL wye as well as crossing the two Overland Route tracks) but has long since been rerouted to pass east of town.
