This time looking north from the Cheney Spokane Road highway bridge at Marshall, Washington, we see this northbound Union Pacific freight which has just come off the connecting track from the former Spokane, Portland and Seattle main (at left) and is now on former Northern Pacific rails. The paved trail between the two lines marks the location of the track formerly shared by Union Pacific and Milwaukee Road. This train is bound for Spokane.
