Union Pacific
Salt Lake City, Utah
August 20, 1998

A look at the Salt Lake City junction at South Temple & 600 W, this time looking east. The line barely visible at the far left was at one time the former Western Pacific connector to the Denver & Rio Grande Western's Salt Lake City to Ogden line, while the southbound Union Pacific freight is coming off the Union Pacific's Salt Lake City to Ogden line running just in front of the station (visible in the background at the far right, with the UP herald). The Utah Capitol is visible in the distant left background.
