Here at the Union Pacific's McCammon Junction, looking south from the 1st Street grade crossing, the actual junction of the two lines is apparent. The two tracks on the left are the UP's Oregon Short Line from Granger, Wyoming, which after Pocatello will continue to Portland, Oregon. At right is the somewhat less busy former Utah & Northern from Salt Lake City, which will split off west of Pocatello to head north to Butte, Montana.
