Facing north from the Cheney Spokane Road highway bridge in Marshall, Washington presents a mirror image of the various lines. Here the line at far left is the former Spokane, Portland & Seattle, with the former Northern Pacific at right. The Union Pacific, which used to occupy the right-of-way now paved as a trail, now has trackage rights over the former SP&S and NP lines (the Milwaukee Road had traffic rights over the former Union Pacific line and has been gone since the 1980s).
