Also near Lyle, Washington on the north bank of the Columbia River is a highway rest area off Washington State Route 14. One of its special attractions is this view of the former Spokane, Portland & Seattle as it emerges from one tunnel only to dive into another; this view is also visible from across the river. This grain train is westbound.
