West of Brockway, Pennsylvania is evidence that the Pittsburg & Shawmut was definitely a coal road and doing well at it, based on the excellent track condition. The P&S has survived well into the twenty-first century, being acquired in 2004 and operated by the Buffalo & Northern, part of the Genesee & Wyoming group.
