Looking west along the Pennsylvania's line along the east bank of the Ohio River at Newell, West Virginia leaves no doubt about the decaying nature of the trackwork. This is again taken from somewhere along West Virginia Route 66. Incidentally, if you're blaming the wavy trackwork on telephoto lens abuse, think again; the Kodak Stereo Camera used here had no provision for telephoto lenses.
