Just east of the Federal Street Bridge over the Mahoning River, the Erie's local freight line through Youngstown crossed the Pennsylvania's Erie & Ashtabula Branch at this crossing, guarded by one of the many tilt board signals in the Youngstown area. Traces of the Baltimore & Ohio's secondary line through town paralleling the Erie can faintly be seen to the left of the Erie's track and in the weeds on the other side of the Pennsylvania.
