Pennsylvania [Penn Central]
July 30, 1970
Just east of the Federal Street Bridge over the Mahoning River, the Baltimore & Ohio's local freight line through Youngstown (the former Pittsburgh & Western mainline) crossed the Pennsylvania's Erie & Ashtabula Branch at this crossing, guarded by one of the many tilt board signals in the Youngstown area. Traces of the Erie's secondary line through town paralleling the B&O can faintly be seen to the left of the B&O tracks and in the weeds on the other side of the Pennsylvania.
