New York Central [Penn Central]
Croton-Harmon, New York
January 24, 1973

It used to be a simple matter to walk to the rear of a train and shoot through the back door, which (if the window was reasonably clean and the sun not shining directly on the glass) could result in some spectacular right-of-way scenes. This shot on southbound Amtrak train no. 74 along the Hudson River is somewhere north of Croton-Harmon, New York, looking north.
