A Norfolk & Western Geep (which may be no. 2528) leads a transfer run west over former Wabash rails at Forest Hill Crossing in the Chicago area. The tracks paralleling the Wabash are jointly owned by the Chesapeake & Ohio and the Belt Railway of Chicago, with the foreground rails being crossed belonging to the former Pennsylvania (now Penn Central) and those beneath the locomotive to Baltimore & Ohio. The Norfolk & Western acquired the Wabash ion 1964.
