Just east of the Paradise, Montana depot the Northern Pacific's St. Regis freight line crosses Montana Highway 200. This view faces south (railroad east); from here the freight line follows the water-level grade of the Clark Fork River through St. Regis to the junction with the Evaro Hill line at De Smet before continuing on to Missoula.
