This imposing building in downtown Clarion, Pennsylvania appears to have been the headquarters of the Lake Erie, Franklin & Clarion, which ran fifteen miles to a Pennsylvania Railroad connection in Summerville, Pennsylvania. As was not unusual with shorlines, the road never reached the other two of its namesake cities. At one time it did a thriving business in coal, lumber, brick, sand, and glass bottles (Clarion hosted a large glass factory). That bay window hints of more prosperous times, as it appears that some demolition is in progress.
