The Great Northern's Marias Pass line skirts the southern edge of Glacier National Park. This is the one-year old Amtrak's eastbound Empire Builder, and although most of the equipment is Great Northern or Burlington Northern a few pieces of Northern Pacific rolling stock (including the F-unit leading the consist) have crept in.
