The first town encountered after descending the east slope of Marias Pass is East Glacier, seen here from Amtrak's eastbound Empire Builder. There's also a town called West Glacier, but Great Northern chose instead to call it Belton, possibly to avoid confusion. Some years since this photo was taken, a large windscreen was erected along the north side of the girder bridge; apparently the winds here can get rather fierce.
