In this view we're looking south down the Gulf, Mobile & Ohio (from the East State Street grade crossing) at Jacksonville, Illinois as a Burlington Northern freight crosses on former Chicago, Burlington & Quincy trackage. The GM&O's is a secondary line from Bloomington to Murraysville, Illinois and no longer exists north of Jacksonville.
