The former Erie trackage in Bradford, Pennsylvania holds the unusual distinction of having no direct connection with the rest of the Erie system, instead accessing it via a line shared by the Buffalo, Rochester & Pittsburgh and the Pennsylvania. This is a relic of the old Erie narrow-gauge network that used to blanket the area as far south as Mount Jewett (the famous Kinzua viaduct formed a part of this network). At the time of this photo Erie Lackawanna still retained access to some industries in Bradford, as seen being worked here by SW no. 371 and caboose no. C181.
