Another day, another Missouri Hill photo. This location, on U.S. Route 24 on the eastern approach to the Denver & Rio Grande Western's Tennessee Pass Tunnel, was just too good to resist. This train is also westbound, and is a bit unusual in being a mixed freight rather than part of the constant parade of unit coal trains typical at this time.
