The name of the tracks' owner here in Ruby Canyon, Colorado has changed (it's now Southern Pacific) but nothing else, as Denver & Rio Grande Western has simply undergone a name change after swallowing the much larger Southern Pacific. However, in less than a year there really will be a change as Union Pacific takes over the road and through traffic drops considerably. Fortunately the scenic aspects of the line still remain, as evident in this shot from Amtrak's California Zephyr/Desert Wind.
