The Chicago, Rock Island & Pacific's Vermont Street Station in Blue Island, Illinois, is here resplendent in a new coat of brilliant red paint. The Geep passing the station doesn't look too bad, either, but the B-units following (still in the Union Pacific colors used for forwarding some UP passenger trains in pre-Amtrak days) are looking seomewhat seedy. The Burr Oak Yard tower is visible behind the Geep.
