Atchison, Topeka & Santa Fe
Chicago, Illinois (Twenty-First Street Crossing)
June 3, 1973

Amtrak was already over two years old when this was taken, but service over Santa Fe routes could still be counted on to host Santa Fe power. That the warbonnet era was drawing to a close is evident as these units head north to Union Station on Pennsylvania Railroad (Penn Central) rails over the Chicago River (South Branch) lift bridge.
