The Yakima Valley Tranportation Company was a former interurban system which still survived as a freight carrier, owned by Union Pacific since 1908. Here one of the YVT's "juice jacks" (no. 298) switches an industry alongside 16th Avenue North in Yakima, Washington. The UP parentage is obvious in the unit's paint scheme.
