Looking west along the Union Pacific's former Oregon Short Line to Portland, an eastbound Union Pacific freight is approaching this gravel road grade crossing (the remains of "Old U.S. Route 30") in Granger, Wyoming. Soon it will be merging onto the UP's east-west Overland Route mainline to Laramie and Cheyenne.
