Kaw River Junction is located amid a jungle of highway overpasses; this shot was apparently taken from the approach to the Minnesota Avenue bridge, looking northeast. Here the Union Pacific line from Armstrong and Armourdale Yards splits into three. What appears to be a railroad bridge in the distance is probably the James Street bridge.
