Pennsylvania [Penn Central]
West Rochester, New York
April 9, 1971

The Pennsylvania's line to Rochester, New York was mostly abandoned by 1971, including what must have been a highly scenic stretch through what today is Letchworth State Park, but a minimal amount of trackage in Rochester was retained by Penn Central to service various industries. Here in West Rochester it crossed the Buffalo, Rochester & Pittsburgh's main (under Baltimore & Ohio ownership at that time) with this unusual tiltboard signal for protection.
