Lehigh Valley
Batavia, New York
March 9, 1976

Although only a few weeks from absorption by Conrail, the Lehigh Valley was still capable of running long trains. This westbound crossing Tonawanda Creek is at Batavia, New York; note the clean, still-colorful units on the head end. No. 502 was one of the order of six LV locomotives financed by the USRA in 1974.
