It's hard to believe that you're in downtown Youngstown, Ohio here, but this eastbound Erie Lackawanna freight has just passed the Erie's downtown station and is only a few blocks from Himrod Junction. Youngstown State University is a few blocks to the north, and Stroud's department store just southwest of here. This photo is looking east from Wick Avenue, a major thoroughfare which passes through the downtown financial district to the south. Note the gondolas loaded with steel slabs; the Erie played a major part in Youngstown's steel industry. Today this line is completely gone, but the trees remain.
