Erie [Erie Lackawanna]
Youngstown, Ohio (Himrod Junction)
July 30, 1970

At Himrod Junction in Youngstown, Ohio the Erie's eastbound mainline veered off to the left while the line to the right connected to several major railroads at NK Yard, including the New York Central and its Pittsburg & Lake Erie subsidiary (both Penn Central by then), Baltimore and Ohio, and Pennsylvania (also Penn Central). It also provided access to steel mills on Youngstown's east side. This view is looking east from the Watts Street bridge.
