Taken from the same Liberty Road grade crossing as the previous photo, this shows the "Warren freight bypass" line before it veered northeast to pass north of Warren, Ohio. At the far left is the Cleveland & Mahoning line to Warren and Youngstown. Note the telephone call box, which crews observing the position light telephone train order signal in the previous slide would use to call in for instructions. This view is looking west towards Leavittsburg; the Erie was the only railroad to my knowledge that used the widely spaced searchlight targets for interlocking (absolute) signals.
