Looking east from the same vantage point as the previous slide, we see the eastbound continuing on towards Battle Mountain. Soon the two lines will diverge until nearly four miles separate them, and they will continue east in that fashion until rejoining near Dunphy, leaving Battle Mountain with two widely separated stations.
