Another look at the summit of Homestake pass and former host to the North Coast Limited,, this time looking east. Unlike most former Northern Pacific trackage in Montana, this part of the line (from Spire Rock to Butte) was not conveyed to Montana Rail Link in 1987, but remained under Burlington Northern (later Burlington Northern Santa Fe) ownership.
