Missouri-Kansas-Texas

Missouri-Kansas-Texas
Nevada, Missouri
June 1, 1975

Nevada (pronounced "nuh-vay-duh"), Missouri hosted a crossing of the Missouri-Kansas-Texas St. Louis, Missouri-Parsons, Kansas main and the Missouri Pacific's Kansas City-Jopin, Missouri line. The weed-grown rails in the immediate foreground are the Katy's main, and the two lines with tall signal masts are the MP's. A connecting track runs to the right of the tower; the crossing itself is behind the tower. The smaller color light signal is a train order signal. This view is looking northeast.
