Baldwin switcher no. 235 works the yard lead in front of the Lehigh Valley's venerable Sayre, Pennsylvania station. Note the array of pigeons on the station's steep roof; in this case the warmth coming from the station's interior probably takes priority over the work of maintaining a foothold. Today the station, on South Lehigh Ave, houses the Sayre Historical Society. This slide is looking south from the Lockhart Street footbridge, now gone; the bridge behind the station is Packer Ave.
