Louisville & Nashville caboose no. 1288 was spotted on Santa Fe near 35th Street in Chicago, Illinois, with Geep no. 524 just visible at right. The Louisville & Nashville gained access to Chicago with its acquisition (shared with Missouri Pacific) of the Chicago & Eastern Illinois in May 1967.
