Here in the northeast corner of Kansas City we see the Kansas City Terminal Railroad mainline, looking northeast from Wilson Street. The signals are for the crossing with the St. Louis-San Francisco (today abandoned) at Frisco Crossing. The weed-covered track at left appears to be the remains of a connection to a street-running line which once ran down Independence Avenue.
