This is the Erie mainline looking west towards downtown Binghamton, New York. The former Delaware, Lackawanna & Western's branch to Syracuse crosses in the foreground, while the Lackawanna main can be seen at the extreme left. The girder bridges cross over U.S. Highway 11. By this time, of course, all was Conrail.
