Kobe Siding is located near Malta, Colorado, on the east slope of Tennessee Pass, here seen looking south from the adjacent U.S. Route 24. As is evident here, it could be quite busy at times, with a westbound unit coal train led by nos. 245 and 248 meeting an eastbound.
