Another Louisville & Nashville transfer run seen at Dolton Crossing south of Chicago. The Louisville & Nashville gained its entrance to Chicago when as a condition of Missouri Pacific purchase of the Chjicago & Eastern Illinois it agreed to sell L&N the southeastern leg of the C&EI and agree to joint ownership of the main stem north to Chicago.
