Chicago & Western Indiana
Chicago, Illinois (Dearborn Station)
August 28, 1971

Seen from Roosevelt Road looking north, Dearborn Station itself shows few signs of life almost five months after the April 1 startup of Amtrak. By now only the Norfolk & Western (former Wabash) commuter run to Orland Park still uses Dearborn. The famous clock tower is visible above the center of the train shed.
