Another Chicago Short Line coal run led by CSL no. 31 is on Chicago, Rock Island and Pacific track, about to cross under the former Pennsylvania Railroad (now Penn Central) main line at South Chicago Crossing. In the distance to the right is a Belt Railway of Chicago switcher on BRC rails; the line curving to the left also belongs to the BRC.
