The Chesapeake & Ohio freight is on joint C&O/Belt Railway of Chicago trackage, paralleled at right by the Wabash (Norfolk & Western) main. Tracks about to be crossed by the freight belong to the Pennsylvania (Penn Central), with the Baltimore & Ohio closest to the camera. Note the semaphores on the joint C&O/BRC tracks.
