Between the stainless steel cab units and the stainless steel cabooses, the Burlington gave off an aura of class unlike any other road. Even with a thick layer of grime, CB&Q caboose no. 13514, seen here at 26th Street Crossing, still has it. Come to think of it, the Milwaukee Road's distinctive horizontal-ribbed cabooses (like the one in the right background) weren't bad either…
