In 1972 the last thing the photographer expected to see was this Baltimore & Ohio cab unit still in the B&O's original diesel paint scheme (even if one of the panels had since been replaced and a bit of graceless yellow touch-up paint applied). This shot of the former Buffalo, Rochester & Pittsburgh main was probably taken from U.S. Route 219, just south of Brockway, Pennsylvania.
