Baltimore & Ohio Chicago Terminal
Dolton, Illinois (Dolton Crossing)
June 6, 1973

Baltimore & Ohio no. 4103 wearing the classic "Chessie Kitten" paint scheme leads an eastbound freight on Baltimore & Ohio Chicago Terminal trackage through Dolton Crossing in the Chicago suburb of Dolton, crossing rails of the Chicago & Western Indiana. Although the B&O became part of the Chesapeake & Ohio-affiliated Chessie System in 1973, it continued to be operated independently until 1987.
