Union Pacific
Salt Lake City, Utah
June 6, 1970

Active working steam was long gone on the Union Pacific when this tender was spotted behind the UP's Salt Lake City depot. In the background is the UP's former Oregon Short Line to Ogden; behind that is the Denver & Rio Grande Western's Salt Lake City-Ogden main. The south leg of the wye connecting to the UP's Los Angeles & Salt Lake line is visible at the very top.
