The New York Central's Fall Brook line eventually passed through some of the most impressive scenery in Pennsylvania, including the Grand Canyon of the East, but here at Beaver Dams in upstate New York it saw mostly rolling farmland (with a few notable exceptions, such as Watkins Glen). This view is probably looking south from the Hornby Road highway crossing; the barn at right is not in today's Google Satellite View, but it has been 47 years, after all…
