Somewhat surprising in the generally confined canyons of the Dotsero Cutoff, often with just enough room for the Colorado River, the track and a highway (and sometimes not the highway), is this broad valley at Range, Colorado. Here at Range Siding a westbound Burlington Northern Santa Fe freight (led by units still in Burlington Northern's Cascade Green) waits in the hole for an eastbound UP freight.
