Denver & Rio Grande Western [Southern Pacific]
Pueblo, Colorado
June 7, 1996

Two major lines converge on the west side of Pueblo, Colorado. The Atchison, Topeka & Santa Fe's line from Denver (part of the Joint Line for the stretch between Bragdon and Crews), and the Denver & Rio Grande Western's Tennessee Pass line both expand into major side-by-side yards. Burlington Northern also maintains a presence, due to trackage rights dating back to Colorado & Southern days. This view is looking northwest from the Lincoln Avenue (Colorado State Highway 96) bridge.
