Baltimore & Ohio
Youngstown, Ohio
July 30, 1970

The Baltimore & Ohio's mainline bypassed downtown Youngstown by hugging the opposite bank of the Mahoning River. Above to the right is the Lake Erie & Eastern main, a Pittsburgh & Lake Erie subsidiary (both part of Penn Central by this time), which connected steel mills in Campbell and Girard. This train is westbound, seen from the Wick Avenue bridge.
